Chinese commercial vehicle brand Sunlong is set to unveil two new microbus models, the U1 and U2, at the upcoming NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, scheduled to begin on August 6. The launch will be conducted by Blue Corporation Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Weber Group.
Key Features and Pricing
The Sunlong U1 is a 12-seater microbus priced at NPR 47,47,000, while the U2 is a 13-seater microbus priced at NPR 51,51,000. Both models come equipped with advanced features, including 46.36 kWh and 50.23 kWh battery packs, respectively, and are powered by an 80 kW motor.
Performance and Safety
The Sunlong U1 and U2 offer impressive driving ranges of up to 325 km and 350 km, respectively. They also feature 15-inch wheels and offer 180 mm of ground clearance, ensuring a smooth ride. In terms of safety, the vehicles are equipped with ABS, EBD, EPS, ESC, brake assist, front disc and rear drum braking system, and seatbelt warning.
Interior and Convenience Features
The interior of the Sunlong U1 and U2 features an LCD dashboard, USB charging interface, air conditioning, pedestrian warning system, reverse parking sensors, reverse camera, and front power windows. Additionally, the company will provide a 3.3 kW portable charger and a 6.6 kW wall-mounted charger with each vehicle.
