EV News Nepal provides electric vehicle pricing information, comparison tools, launch and price updates, an EMI calculator, a used EV marketplace, EV charging station maps, and related tools for users in Nepal. All information is provided for general informational purposes only.

3. Nature of the Service

EV News Nepal is a commercial vehicle information and listings platform. It is not a news organisation, online news portal, mass media or online media outlet, and it does not carry out journalism or news reporting. Content in the Launches & Updates section is product and price information about vehicles sold in Nepal, compiled mainly from official distributor and manufacturer announcements. The name "EV News Nepal" is a brand name and does not indicate that the service is a news publication.

4. User Accounts

You may sign in using Google authentication. By signing in, you agree to provide accurate information. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Used EV Marketplace

Users may list used electric vehicles for sale on the Website. By listing a vehicle, you represent that:

• You are the legal owner or authorized to sell the vehicle
• All information provided (price, condition, mileage, battery health) is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• Photos uploaded are of the actual vehicle being sold

EV News Nepal acts as an information platform only. We do not participate in, mediate, or guarantee any transaction between buyers and sellers. All transactions are conducted directly between parties at their own risk.

Promotion of your listing on social media

By posting a used EV listing, you allow EV News Nepal to promote that listing on our social media channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. This may include short videos, images and posts made from the photos, price and details you provide. We do this to bring more buyers to your vehicle, and it is provided to you as free marketing at present.

• We may edit, crop or combine your photos and details to fit the format of each platform
• We never share your phone number or email in these posts. Interested buyers are directed to your listing on the Website
• Posts about a listing may stay online after the vehicle is sold or the listing is removed
• If you do not want your listing promoted, contact us at contact@evnewsnepal.com and we will exclude it

Social media promotion is offered free of charge for now. We may make it a paid or optional feature in the future, and we will update these Terms and notify sellers before any charge applies.

6. Aggregated Listings

Some listings on our marketplace are aggregated from third-party sources such as Hamrobazar and MeroMoto. These listings are provided for informational convenience. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of aggregated listings. Users should verify details directly with the original source.

7. Pricing and Vehicle Information

Vehicle prices, specifications, and availability are sourced from manufacturers, dealers, and public sources. Prices may change without notice. EV News Nepal does not guarantee the accuracy of any pricing or specification data. Always confirm details with authorized dealers before making purchase decisions.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, articles, tools, design, and code, is the property of EV News Nepal unless otherwise noted. Vehicle images and brand logos belong to their respective owners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Use the Website for any illegal purpose
• Harass, spam, or abuse other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems

10. Automated Access, Scraping & AI Systems

Automated scraping, bulk downloading, crawling for data extraction, or any programmatic collection of content, prices, specifications, images, or listings from the Website or its API is strictly prohibited without our prior written permission. This applies equally to scrapers written by hand and to scrapers written, generated, or operated by AI systems or agents (including but not limited to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot). Unauthorized scraping constitutes a breach of these Terms and an infringement of our copyright, and we reserve the right to block access and pursue available legal remedies.
