Dongfeng Forthing Friday EV: All-New Electric Vehicle Coming Soon

    May 6, 2025

Laxmi E-Mobility, the dedicated electric mobility division of Laxmi Intercontinental, the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, is poised to launch its latest all-electric offering, the Dongfeng Forthing Friday EV, within this month.

This debut marks the entry of the Dongfeng Forthing brand in Nepal, introducing a stylish and feature-packed SUV designed to impress. The Dongfeng Forthing Friday EV will be available in two trims—Luxury and Exclusive, priced at Rs.56,96,000 and Rs.62,96,000 respectively.

Both variants come equipped with a 64.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery paired with a 99 kW electric motor, delivering a robust performance and a driving range of up to 400 km (WLTP) on a full charge—more than enough for both city commutes and weekend getaways.

Design-wise, the Friday EV speaks a modern, minimalist language with its closed front grille, sharp LED lighting, and clean silhouette that gives it a futuristic road presence. Inside, it continues to impress with a premium, tech-savvy cabin featuring dual 12.3-inch digital displays, a panoramic sunroof, and a spacious, comfort-oriented layout built for long journeys and daily drives alike.

The Friday EV takes technology and safety to the next level, offering Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)—including lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and smart parking assist—raising the bar in its segment. Additionally, features like wireless phone charging, keyless entry, and a PM2.5 air filtration system further enhance its appeal as a smart and family-friendly electric SUV.

With strong after-sales support backed by Laxmi Intercontinental's trusted service network, the Dongfeng Forthing Friday EV is expected to redefine the premium EV experience in Nepal.
