Hyundai Nepal Introduces Electric Creta in Bharatpur, Hands Over Initial 5 Units

    May 13, 2025

Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd. Launches Creta EV in Nepal

Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., the sole distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, has successfully hosted the Creta EV Launch and Meet & Greet event in Bharatpur, Chitwan. This event marks a significant milestone in the country's EV ecosystem.

By introducing the all-new Creta EV, Hyundai Nepal aims to alleviate common concerns related to switching to electric vehicles. These concerns include spare parts availability, service costs, and long-term brand support.

To address these concerns, Laxmi Hyundai is expanding the RE-Lax charging network, which currently has 66 active chargers across various locations nationwide. This initiative will ensure that customers can enjoy the same trusted service, parts availability, and after-sales support across both EV and ICE variants.

    Senior Management Team Visits Nationwide

As part of this initiative, a special Meet & Greet event was organized at Pinnacle Trading Pvt. Ltd. on 12th May 2025, where new Hyundai models, including the Creta EV, were showcased. This event received an excellent response from the attendees, with five Creta EVs delivered directly to customers from the event.

    Competitive Pricing and Features

The Creta EV is priced starting at Rs. 51,96,000, while the locally assembled Creta ICE begins at Rs. 53,96,000. The ICE model benefits from a price reduction of up to Rs. 9 lakh compared to the imported 2025 versions. The Creta EV boasts a 42 kWh battery pack, delivering 99 kW (132 bhp) and offers a driving range of 390 km. Additionally, it has a 200mm ground clearance and a breakover angle exceeding 17 degrees, the highest in its class, making it capable of handling light off-road terrains.

    Advanced Safety Features

For safety, the Creta EV is equipped with advanced features such as ADAS, six airbags, and a 360-degree camera, providing comprehensive protection for all passengers.
