    Mahindra Launches BE6 and XEV 9e Electric SUV Models in Chitwan, Nepal

    Launch of Mahindra's Electric SUVs in Chitwan

    Agni Aastha Private Limited, a subsidiary of the Agni Group and Mahindra-certified pre-owned vehicles company, has officially launched Mahindra's latest electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, in Chitwan. As the official distributor of Mahindra Pickups, Tractors, SUVs, and RVs in Nepal, the company marks the beginning of a new era of electric mobility in the region. The BE 6 and XEV 9e are built on Mahindra's advanced INGLO platform and powered by MAIA, one of the world's most intelligent automotive architectures, embodying Mahindra's Born Electric vision.

    Key Features and Specifications

    The BE 6 and XEV 9e offer impressive driving ranges on their 79 kWh LFP battery packs, with the BE 6 delivering up to 543 km and the XEV 9e up to 656 km. The battery packs are backed by an industry-leading warranty of 8 years or 200,000 km, reinforcing long-term ownership confidence. Both models feature advanced semi-active dampers, i-Link front suspension, and 5-link rear independent suspension for enhanced ride comfort and handling. The BE 6 delivers an engaging driving experience with its 6-speed transmission, race-inspired digital cockpit, and multiple driving modes, while the XEV 9e elevates performance with up to 199 kW of power in its top variant.

    Premium Features and Safety

    Both electric SUVs are equipped with premium features, including Harman Kardon Sonic Studio sound systems, Autopark functionality, EyeDentity driver and occupant monitoring, and the LiveYourMood cabin ambience system. The XEV 9e additionally features an AR-based VisionX heads-up display. Advanced safety is ensured through ADAS Level 2 on the BE 6 and ADAS Level 2+ on the XEV 9e, along with 360-degree cameras and the ME4U connected vehicle platform, delivering a comprehensive blend of safety, comfort, and convenience.

    Launch Event

    The launch event was hosted at the Hotel Siraichuli, Bharatpur, Chitwan, and attended by key dignitaries, including the Chief Guest Mr. Chiranjibi Subedi, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chitwan (CCIC); Mr. Cabinet Shrestha, Chairman of Agni Group; and Mr. Chaitanya Kagalkar, Country Manager of Mahindra & Mahindra, along with Mahindra customers, EV enthusiasts, media personnel, and company representatives. The event marked a significant milestone in the adoption of electric vehicles in Chitwan, with the BE 6 and XEV 9e poised to revolutionize the Electric Vehicle (EV) market in Nepal.
