Morris Garages Nepal Unveils Windsor EV, Priced from Rs 37.99 Lakh
Morris Garages Nepal has introduced its fifth electric vehicle in the Nepali market, the Windsor EV, with a starting price of Rs 37.99 Lakh. The electric vehicle is available in two variants: Excite, priced at Rs 37.99 Lakh, and Exclusive, priced at Rs 39.99 Lakh.
Powertrain and Performance
The Windsor EV is powered by a 38 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of 332 km on a full charge. The electric motor produces 134 bhp and 200 Nm of torque, and the vehicle features four driving modes: Eco, Eco+, Normal, and Sport.
Design and Features
Despite its MPV stance and proportions, the Windsor is a five-seater with two rows. The exterior boasts a modern design, highlighted by MG's signature cowl, sharp headlamps, and 18-inch chrome alloy wheels. It also features a ground clearance of 186 mm. Inside, the Windsor offers a premium cabin experience, with a segment-first 15.6-inch infotainment display, a floating 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, and 'Aero-Lounge' seats that recline up to 135°. Additional features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, leatherette upholstery, a 6-speaker audio system, and smart flush door handles.
Safety Features
The Windsor EV prioritizes safety, equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, disc brakes on all four wheels, ESC, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera system. The vehicle also comes with an 8-year battery warranty.
