The official distributor of Proton in Nepal, Jagdamba Motors, has launched the Proton eMas 7 electric SUV in the Nepalese market at a starting price of Rs 56.99 lakh. The eMas 7 is available in two variants—Prime and Premium—priced at Rs 56.99 lakh and Rs 67.99 lakh, respectively.
The Proton eMas 7 is powered by a front-mounted electric motor that generates 160 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque. It features a 12-in-1 electric motor system, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. The eMas 7's Aegis Short Blade Battery, developed by Geely Automobile, offers faster charging speeds and enhanced safety compared to conventional blade batteries.
The Prime variant comes with a 49.52 kWh LFP battery, delivering a range of 345 km (WLTP). It also includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a 15.4-inch 2.5K display, remote control functionality, and ADAS Level 2. The Premium variant, on the other hand, is equipped with a 60.22 kWh LFP battery, providing an extended range of 410 km (WLTP). It features larger 19-inch alloy wheels, a 16-speaker Flyme Sound System, a windshield head-up display (HUD), and ventilated front seats for enhanced comfort.
The eMas 7 offers a spacious cabin with a 2,750mm wheelbase, providing ample room for passengers. The Premium variant also comes with an advanced 16-speaker audio system, delivering an immersive sound experience. This electric SUV is available in six exterior color options—Platinum Silver, Turquoise Green, Slate Grey, Quartz Rose, Lithium White, and Moyu Black. The interior is offered in a single Indigo Blue color scheme.
