LRR Motors, the official importer of JY Air EV in Nepal, has announced Senior Captain and media personality Bijaya Lama as its brand ambassador. The announcement was made on the fourth day of the NADA Auto Show 2025, where the JY Air electric sedan was launched on the first day.
JY Air EV: Aviation-Inspired Electric Sedan
The JY Air electric sedan, produced by JuneYao Auto, the electric vehicle arm of JuneYao Airlines, boasts aviation-inspired design elements. Its sweeping rooflines evoke night-flight skylines, while its lighting details are reminiscent of aircraft features.
JY Air EV Variants and Features
The JY Air Ultra is priced at Rs 63.99 lakh and comes equipped with a 64 kWh battery, 99 kW motor, and features like Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), a 360-degree camera, ADAS functions, seven airbags, and a panoramic sunroof. It offers a WLTC range of 440 km. The JY Air Lite, priced at Rs 49.99 lakh, features a 51 kWh battery and the same motor setup, delivering a WLTC range of 355 km.
