All NIU EVs available in Nepal support DC fast charging for quick top-ups during long trips, and can be charged at home using standard AC charging. Running costs are significantly lower than petrol vehicles — typically Rs. 1,000 to 2,000 per month for daily commuting in Kathmandu Valley, compared to Rs. 6,000 to 8,000 for an equivalent petrol car.
