Tata Punch EV Facelift Launched in Nepal

The Tata Punch EV Facelift has officially debuted at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. This new electric SUV comes with an introductory price of Rs 32.99 lakh for the 30 kWh version, exclusive to NAIMA events. Post-event, the price will rise to Rs 33.99 lakh. The facelift introduces refreshed styling, improved range, and updated features, enhancing Tata’s electric vehicle lineup in Nepal.

Pricing Details

The Tata Punch EV Facelift is available in three variants:

30 kWh version: Introductory price of Rs 32.99 lakh (later Rs 33.99 lakh)
Empowered 40 kWh variant: Rs 36.99 lakh
Top-spec Empowered+ S 40 kWh variant: Rs 37.99 lakh

Battery and Performance

The Punch EV facelift is offered with two battery options: 30 kWh and 40 kWh, both powered by a front-mounted electric motor driving the front wheels.

The 40 kWh version delivers 129 hp and 154 Nm of torque, with an ARAI-certified range of 468 km. In real-world conditions (C75), it offers approximately 355 km.
The 30 kWh version produces 88 hp and 154 Nm of torque, boasting an ARAI-rated range of 365 km.

Performance upgrades include a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of under nine seconds and a 32 percent restart gradeability, enabling confident handling of steep inclines.

Drive Modes and Regenerative Braking

The SUV features three drive modes—City, Eco, and Sport—along with four levels of regenerative braking, adjustable via paddle shifters for optimised energy recovery.

Enhanced Charging Capability

Charging efficiency has been significantly improved. Using a 65 kW DC fast charger, the Punch EV facelift can charge from 20 to 80 percent in just 26 minutes. Tata estimates that a 15-minute charging session can provide up to 135 km of range.
