Laxmi Group is preparing to introduce Jetour in Nepal, and had planned to showcase the brand's T1 and T2 plug-in hybrid SUVs at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo. With the vehicles stranded, that showcase did not happen and the debut is now delayed.

The model that is not coming yet: Jetour Tourer
Separately, Jetour is preparing a compact electric SUV for international markets, currently referred to as the Jetour Tourer. It has appeared in China's MIIT filings, and was previewed earlier this year as the Jetour TX concept at Auto China 2026 in Beijing. The production car is expected to keep most of the concept's design.
To be clear about what this is: the Tourer is a China filing, not a Nepal launch. It is worth knowing about because it would sit below the T1 and T2, which is the part of the market most Nepal buyers actually shop in.

The Tourer is 1,880 mm wide and up to 1,710 mm tall, on 18-inch or 19-inch wheels. Despite the compact footprint it carries a boxy shape borrowed from the rugged T2, with a wraparound windscreen, sharply sculpted surfaces and a full-width gloss-black panel front and rear housing four round lighting elements.
Two motor setups are reported: a single-motor version at 200 kW, or 272 PS, and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version at up to 275 kW, or 374 PS. Battery capacity and range have not been officially disclosed.
Reports suggest Jetour is considering the Tourer for markets outside China, which would eventually make it a candidate for Nepal. That is a possibility rather than a plan, and we will not carry a Nepal price for it until one exists.
