Changan officially announced this achievement on August 11, following the Q05’s record-breaking sales of 18,871 units in July 2026. Since its launch in November 2025, the Q05 has maintained its position as China’s best-selling compact SUV for four consecutive months. Sales figures have shown consistent growth, starting from 4,452 units in January and 3,852 units in February, then rising to 12,602 units in March, 15,814 units in April, 15,954 units in May, and 18,908 units in June.
Priced competitively in China’s RMB 100,000 electric SUV segment, the Q05 offers a 2,735 mm wheelbase, CATL battery cells, and 3C fast charging capability. Under optimal conditions, the system can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in approximately 15 minutes.
