MAW Vriddhi, the authorized distributor of Changan in Nepal, has presented the all-new Deepal Nevo Q05 ahead of its official launch at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2026. The Q05 enters Nepal as a compact electric SUV, featuring a 120 kW electric motor, a 51.9 kWh battery, fast-charging capability, and a 2,735 mm wheelbase.

While MAW Vriddhi has not yet disclosed the Nepal-specific variant lineup and final specifications, the Deepal Nevo Q05 is anticipated to be priced below NPR 55 lakh. This competitive pricing positions the Q05 in a segment that includes models like the BYD Atto 2, with its dimensions and wheelbase overlapping those of larger electric SUVs such as the BYD Atto 3.
Designed under the leadership of Klaus Zyciora, former Head of Global Design at Volkswagen Group and recipient of the prestigious Golden A' Design Award, the Q05 follows Deepal’s latest design direction. The SUV features a streamlined exterior with the Digital Wing 2.0 full-width DRL and boasts a claimed drag coefficient of 0.265 Cd. It will be available in five exterior colors.
Despite being positioned in the B-segment, the Q05 boasts a relatively long 2,735 mm wheelbase, longer than the 2,720 mm wheelbase of the BYD Atto 3. Deepal claims 990 mm of rear legroom and an 86.6 percent cabin space utilisation rate. The Q05 also offers a 540-litre dual-level boot, semi-hidden door handles, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Performance and Charging
The Q05 is powered by a 120 kW electric motor paired with a 51.9 kWh CATL Golden Shield 2.0 LFP battery, offering a claimed range of up to 462 km under the NEDC cycle. The SUV supports up to 162 kW DC fast charging, with the battery claimed to charge from 30 to 80 percent in around 15 minutes. Additionally, it includes 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
Interior and Infotainment
The cabin of the Q05 includes features typically found in higher segments. Depending on the variant, these include heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, with the front passenger seat offering a reclining function and legrest. Other interior features include 256-colour ambient lighting and a 1.8-square-metre panoramic glass roof. The second-row seats provide two-level reclining functionality, and Deepal claims an interior noise level of 62 dB at 60 km/h.
The infotainment system comprises a 14.6-inch 1080p touchscreen, complemented by a 10.17-inch digital instrument cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity are available, with additional connected features depending on the variant.
Safety and Driver-Assistance
The Q05 comes equipped with a range of driver-assistance and safety technologies. Higher variants feature Deepal’s Tianshu intelligent driving system, 18 ADAS functions, and other equipment for the Nepal-spec model, which are expected to be confirmed by MAW Vriddhi at launch.
Market Performance and Warranty
The Q05 has already recorded more than 100,000 sales in China in less than nine months. Its arrival in Nepal coincides with the country’s expanding electric SUV market, where several brands are competing across the compact and mid-size EV segments.
MAW Vriddhi will offer the Deepal Nevo Q05 with a 5-year or 150,000 km whole-vehicle warranty. The model will make its official debut on August 23.
