The Nepal-spec Tata Punch EV facelift is equipped with a 40 kWh battery pack, paired with a front-mounted electric motor that powers the front wheels. The motor delivers 129 hp and 154 Nm of torque, providing an ARAI-certified range of 468 km and a real-world (C75) range of approximately 355 km. Tata claims the vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in under nine seconds.
Drivers can choose from three drive modes — City, Eco, and Sport — and adjust regenerative braking through four levels accessible via paddle shifters. The SUV also supports 65 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 20-80 percent charge in just 26 minutes. A 15-minute top-up adds up to 135 km of range. The updated battery system features improved thermal management and greater efficiency.
Refreshed Exterior and Interior Design
The Punch EV facelift boasts a cleaner exterior design, inspired by the latest internal combustion engine (ICE) Punch facelift. Notable exterior updates include a redesigned front bumper, a closed-off grille, new 16-inch alloy wheels, updated colour options, and connected LED tail lamps at the rear. The vehicle maintains its robust off-road capabilities with 195 mm ground clearance and 450 mm water-wading ability.
Inside, the dashboard retains its familiar layout but features updated trims and enhanced technology.
