Ultraviolette X47 Crossover Launched in Nepal at NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026

Vaidya’s Organization has introduced the Ultraviolette X47 Crossover at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. This launch expands the Indian electric motorcycle brand’s presence in Nepal beyond its existing F77 model. The X47 is now available in four distinct variants: Standard (Rs 6,84,900), Original+ (Rs 8,44,900), Recon+ (Rs 9,74,900), and Desert Wing (Rs 10,54,900).

Design and Versatility

The Ultraviolette X47 joins the F77 lineup but features a revised chassis and sub-frame tailored for crossover and adventure riding. Its rugged design includes a distinctive beak-style front fender, sculpted body panels, and a sharp tail section supported by an aluminum sub-frame. The Desert Wing Edition stands out with practical additions such as a luggage rack, saddle stays, and panniers, enhancing its adventure appeal.

Advanced Safety Features

One of the X47’s standout features is UV Hypersense, Ultraviolette’s radar-based rider assistance system. Utilizing a 77GHz rear-facing radar, UV Hypersense offers critical safety features like blind-spot detection, lane-change assist, overtaking alerts, and rear-collision warnings. These alerts are displayed on the TFT console and mirror light strips, ensuring riders are always informed and safe.

Performance and Technology

The X47 is not just about safety; it’s packed with advanced technology. It includes integrated dash cameras, traction control, multiple levels of regenerative braking, switchable dual-channel ABS, and three riding modes: Glide, Combat, and Ballistic. Powered by an electric motor, the X47 delivers 40 hp and 100 Nm of torque, achieving a 0–60 km/h sprint in 2.7 seconds and reaching 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds, with a top speed of 145 km/h.

Battery Options and Charging

In the Nepalese market, the X47 comes with two battery options to suit different needs. The 7.1 kWh battery provides a claimed range of 211 km, while the larger 10.3 kWh battery extends that range to 323 km. The motorcycle supports Type 2 AC and DC fast charging, as well as Ultraviolette’s Parallel Boost Charging technology, ensuring minimal downtime between rides.

A New Benchmark in Electric Motorcycling

With its blend of performance, crossover-oriented hardware, and advanced radar-based rider assistance, the Ultraviolette X47 sets a new standard as the brand’s most technology-focused motorcycle offering in Nepal. This launch marks a significant step forward in the evolution of electric motorcycling in the region.
