Kathmandu hosted two major auto shows two weeks apart at the same venue in August 2026, which has confused a lot of buyers. NAIMA is the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association, and its Nepal Mobility Expo ran from August 11 to 16. NADA is the dealers’ association, and its show runs from August 25 to 30. Because they are so close together, several models that launched at NAIMA, such as the Hongqi E-HS4, the Arcfox T1 and the TVS Orbiter, are simply on display again at NADA rather than launching a second time.
If you are comparing what was actually new at each show, our full NAIMA 2026 vehicle and price list covers the earlier event, with every launch price recorded as announced.
The 18th NADA Auto Show 2026 runs from August 25 to August 30, 2026 (Bhadra 9 to 14, 2083) at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall on Pradarshani Marg, Kathmandu. It is a six-day show and this is NADA’s golden jubilee edition, marking 50 years of the association.
NADA has not published a ticket price. Advance tickets are being sold through the Khalti app with up to 50% cashback for a limited period. We will update this page with the gate price once NADA confirms it.
The show covers roughly 300,000 square feet with more than 200 stalls. Reported figures are 23 passenger vehicle brands, 17 light commercial brands, around 70 auto parts and accessory stalls and 10 banks and insurers. Around 200,000 visitors are expected across the six days.
Confirmed so far: the Nepal-made Yatri P2 electric scooter, the Changan Nevo Q05 electric SUV, the Yamaha XSR 155 and the Hero Glamor X 125. The Tata Sierra.ev and the Dongfeng MHero 1 are showcase-only, and the Avatr 07 is expected but not confirmed. Around 40 to 50 launches are expected in total, most of them electric.
They are two different shows run by two different bodies at the same venue two weeks apart. NAIMA is the importers and manufacturers association, and its Nepal Mobility Expo ran from August 11 to 16, 2026. NADA is the dealers association, and its show runs from August 25 to 30. Several models launched at NAIMA simply reappear on display at NADA.
Yes. MAW Vriddhi is selling the Dongfeng Nammi Vigo E2 at Rs 35.99 Lakh during the show against Rs 37.99 Lakh afterwards, Proton has said it will announce offers on the e.MAS 5 and e.MAS 7 at the show, and Nepal Bank and Prabhu Bank are both running special auto loan rates. Show discounts are usually time-limited, so check the end date before buying.
Yes. The production version of the Yatri P2 electric scooter, developed by Yatri Motorcycles with Sipradi, is expected to debut at the show. It is designed and manufactured in Nepal, supports DC fast charging and has completed over 7,000 km of testing locally. Yatri has not yet disclosed its battery capacity, motor output or price.
Around 51 vehicle brands in total. The two-wheeler count is reported inconsistently: NADA’s own list has 10 two-wheeler exhibitors while show previews have quoted 12 and 13, so treat that figure as approximate until the show opens.
Last updated 23 August 2026. Show dates and venue verified against NADA’s official listing. Launch line-up and offers will be updated daily once the show opens.
