NADA Auto Show 2026 overview
The NADA Auto Show 2026 ran from August 25 to 30, 2026 at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall in Kathmandu and has now closed. It was the 18th edition and NADA’s golden jubilee, marking 50 years of the association, spread across roughly 300,000 square feet with more than 200 stalls and 53 vehicle brands. Vice President Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav inaugurated the show on opening morning. Entry was Rs 200 for general visitors and Rs 150 for students, and around 200,000 visitors were expected over the six days.
The headline launch was the Yatri P2, a Nepal-designed and Nepal-built electric scooter. Alongside it, MAW Vriddhi launched the Deepal Nevo Q05 electric SUV from Rs 46.99 Lakh, MAW Rides launched the Yamaha XSR 155 and CG Motors brought the Hero Glamor X 125. Did the Bhotekoshi floods affect the show?
Not its dates. NADA decided to continue the show at Bhrikutimandap through August 30, saying the decision was taken to keep economic activity moving, and it closed on schedule. The association also announced Rs 10 lakh for flood-affected people through the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund, and named Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and Chitwan among the affected districts. The floods did disrupt one launch: the SUVs brought in for Jetour's Nepal debut were stranded along the Bhotekoshi route and never reached Kathmandu, so that debut was delayed.
NADA or NAIMA: what is the difference?
Kathmandu hosted two major auto shows two weeks apart at the same venue in August 2026, which has confused a lot of buyers. NAIMA is the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association, and its Nepal Mobility Expo ran from August 11 to 16. NADA is the dealers’ association, and its show ran from August 25 to 30. Because they were so close together, several models that launched at NAIMA, such as the Hongqi E-HS4, the Arcfox T1 and the TVS Orbiter, were simply on display again at NADA rather than launching a second time.

Two parking locations were arranged for visitors. The show closed on August 30, 2026, so tickets are no longer on sale.

NAIMA is the importers and manufacturers association, and its Nepal Mobility Expo ran from August 11 to 16, 2026. NADA is the dealers association, and its show ran from August 25 to 30. Several models launched at NAIMA simply reappear on display at NADA.
Are there discounts at the NADA Auto Show 2026?
There were, but they ended with the show on August 30, 2026. MAW Vriddhi sold the Dongfeng Nammi Vigo E2 at Rs 35.99 Lakh during the show against Rs 37.99 Lakh afterwards, SPG took Rs 3,00,000 off the Chery iCAUR V23, and Nepal Bank and Prabhu Bank ran special auto loan rates. Show discounts are almost always time-limited, so treat any show price you still see quoted as expired and confirm the current price with the distributor.
Is the Nepal-made Yatri P2 launching at NADA 2026?
Yes, it launched on day one. The Yatri P2, developed by Yatri Motorcycles with Sipradi, is designed and manufactured in Nepal.
