The Entry Nammi Box Goes Under Rs. 30 Lakh
MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, the authorised Dongfeng distributor in Nepal, has introduced updated Nammi Box variants at the NADA Auto Show 2026 and cut the price of the entry car.
The new pricing
| Variant | Official price | NADA show price |
|---|---|---|
| Nammi Box E2 330 | Rs. 30,99,000 | Rs. 29,99,000 |
| Nammi Box, 42.3 kWh | Rs. 32,99,000 | Rs. 31,99,000 |
The E2 330's official price is Rs. 1,50,000 below the Rs. 32,49,000 the E2 sold at before, and the show price takes it under Rs. 30 lakh.
A note on the badge, worth reading before you book
The larger 42.3 kWh car is being listed as the E2 440, but the available specifications point to the 42.3 kWh version carrying the Nammi Box E3 designation in Nepal instead. Those are the same battery and, on the face of it, the same car under two names, so ask the dealer to confirm in writing which badge and which price apply to the car you are being quoted. We have held our own listing for the 42.3 kWh car at its existing price until MAW Vriddhi confirms this, rather than publish a figure against the wrong variant.
E2 330 powertrain
The E2 330 uses a 70 kW electric motor with a 31.4 kWh battery pack, a claimed 330 km on the CLTC cycle, and a top speed of 140 km/h. CLTC is an optimistic cycle, so expect meaningfully less in Kathmandu traffic. We show a WLTP-equivalent alongside the company claim on the vehicle page for exactly this reason.
Size
The Nammi Box measures 4,030 mm long, 1,810 mm wide and 1,570 mm tall, on a 2,660 mm wheelbase with about 176 mm of ground clearance, riding on 17-inch alloy wheels.
Features
The design leans on frameless doors and flush door handles, with an automatic parking system. Inside there is a 5-inch digital cluster and a 12.8-inch central infotainment screen, a 360-degree panoramic camera, wireless phone charging, and a heated and ventilated driver's seat with memory, plus automatic air conditioning and multiple drive modes.
Safety covers dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, brake assist and hill-start assist, with driver assistance features on the higher-spec versions.
