Rs 10 Lakh to the Relief Fund, and the Show Stays Open
The NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal has announced Rs 1 million, or Rs 10 lakh, in financial support for people affected by the Bhotekoshi floods. The amount goes to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund for rescue, relief and rehabilitation.
The association expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property, naming Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha and Chitwan among the affected districts. It has also urged automobile businesses to support rescue and relief efforts from their respective areas.
NADA President Surendra Kumar Uprety said the association stands with the government and citizens, and that coordinated effort from the government, the private sector, businesses and citizens is what effective rescue, relief and rehabilitation will take.

Despite the disaster, NADA has decided to continue the NADA Auto Show 2026 at Bhrikutimandap. The association said the decision was taken to keep economic activity moving during a difficult period.
