Yamaha at NADA 2026: Fascino Hybrid, Aerox 155 S, R15 S

Yamaha's Biggest Product Push in Nepal for a While
MAW Rides, the official distributor of Yamaha two-wheelers in Nepal, has used the NADA Auto Show 2026 to refresh the Yamaha range after a long stretch with few additions.
MAW Rides CEO Deepak Kumar Agrawal put it plainly: "We could not bring many new products for some time. We have now upgraded some models and added completely new products. This will make our lineup stronger again."
The Fascino returns, now hybrid
Yamaha has brought the Fascino back with updated styling and hybrid technology, in two variants:
- Fascino S Hybrid
- Fascino Disc Hybrid
Both are on display at the show rather than on sale. Bookings are expected to open soon, and the company plans to start deliveries around Dashain or shortly after.
Aerox 155 S gets keyless start
The updated Yamaha Aerox 155 S was also unveiled, adding a keyless start system among other updates. Like the Fascino, it is being showcased, with the same booking and delivery timeline.
No Nepal prices have been announced for the Fascino Hybrid variants or the Aerox 155 S, so we have not published a figure for them. We will update our listings when MAW Rides confirms pricing.
The R15 strategy
Yamaha has split the R15 line by budget. The R15 S joins the R15 M, and it exists specifically to undercut it.

"Many customers want a full-fairing sports bike, but not everyone can afford the R15 M. So, we have brought the more economical R15 S," Agrawal said. Sales of both the R15 S and R15 M started at the show.
XSR 155: on sale, but you will be waiting
The XSR 155 is drawing the strongest interest of Yamaha's new bikes. The neo-retro machine pairs a teardrop tank, round LED headlamp and flat bench seat with the same 155cc platform as the R15 and MT-15.
Sales have started, but supply is the story. It is available only through bookings, and Agrawal said the Bhadra booking quota is almost closed: "We have very limited quantities of the XSR 155." Deliveries are going out against earlier bookings first.
