Debut Alert: Sunlong Unveils U1 and U2 Electric Vans at NAIMA Mobility Expo 2025
Sunlong will launch two new electric microbus models, the U1 and U2, at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025 starting August 6. The U1 offers a 325 km range with a 46.36 kWh battery and 80 kW motor, priced at NPR 47,47,000, while the U2 provides a 350 km range with a 50.23 kWh battery, priced at NPR 51,51,000. Both models feature advanced safety systems including ABS, ESC, and front disc brakes, plus convenience features like air conditioning and reverse camera.

Jagdamba Motors, Proton's authorized distributor, is establishing a third service center in Pokhara to ensure top-notch after-sales service for EV owners.. The showroom opening was attended by Mr. Krishna Shrestha, President of the Western Automobiles Dealers Association, highlighting growing interest in sustainable transportation in Nepal.. To celebrate the opening, Proton Nepal is offering 0% interest financing for EV purchases in Pokhara during the opening week, reinforcing its commitment to the electric vehicle market.

Agni Logistics Pvt. Ltd. inaugurates a new logistics center in Hetauda, Nepal, expanding its infrastructure to four facilities nationwide. Mahindra launches the Bolero Neo SUV and Jeeto EV in Nepal, with the Jeeto EV offering a 160 km range and a three-year/125,000 km battery warranty. The Hetauda facility spans over 33,000 square feet with 2,200 cubic meters of storage capacity, featuring modern warehousing solutions and climate-controlled options. Agni Logistics provides comprehensive third-party logistics services including procurement, customs clearance, and nationwide distribution with GPS-tracked fleets.
