Gogoro Battery Swapping Tech Revolutionizing Urban Mobility in Nepal
Gogoro launches battery-swapping service in Kathmandu, Nepal, with the Gogoro CrossOver GX250 Smartscooter to tackle long charging times and range anxiety for electric two-wheelers. The battery-swapping system allows users to exchange depleted batteries for fully charged ones in under a minute, significantly reducing downtime compared to traditional charging methods. Tata Motors Nepal has opened bookings for the new Punch EV, requiring a Rs 25,000 reservation fee via their online portal.. The Punch EV features a 35 kWh battery pack, delivering 90 kW power and 190 Nm torque, achieving a range of up to 421 km under MIDC and an estimated real-world range of 270-290 km.. Priced between Rs 35 lakh to Rs 42 lakh, the Punch EV will be unveiled at the NADA Autoshow on August 27, 2024, and includes premium features like a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, and six airbags as standard..
