Arcfox, the electric vehicle brand owned by BAIC Group, may expand its offerings in Nepal with the launch of the Arcfox Alpha T7, a premium electric SUV. The Alpha T7 is set to debut in China on September 16, presented as a mid-to-large SUV with a sporty coupe-style design. It measures 5,020 mm in length and features a 3,040 mm wheelbase, offering 645 liters of boot space that expands to 1,845 liters with the rear seats folded. The SUV is offered in nine rear-wheel-drive variants, including five battery-electric and four extended-range models.
In China, pre-sales began on August 26, with prices ranging from 137,800 yuan to 174,800 yuan after subsidies. Demand has been strong, with Arcfox reporting over 30,000 orders within 72 hours of pre-sales opening.
Powertrain Options and Range
The pure-electric variants of the Alpha T7 utilize an 800V platform and a 227 kW electric motor. The entry-level 650 Plus comes with a 75.4 kWh battery, delivering a claimed CLTC range of 650 km. Higher variants feature an 84.8 kWh battery, offering up to 715 km of range.
