Laxmi Motorhub to Launch Arcfox T1 Electric Crossover in Nepal on August 10

Laxmi Motorhub, the authorized distributor of BAIC and its premium electric vehicle brand Arcfox in Nepal, is preparing to launch the all-new Arcfox T1 electric crossover on August 10. This event will take place ahead of the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, marking a significant expansion of Laxmi Group’s electric vehicle offerings in the Nepalese market.

Design and Dimensions

The Arcfox T1 is positioned as a compact electric crossover, blending the practicality of a hatchback with SUV-inspired styling. The vehicle measures 4,337 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,573 mm in height, with a 2,750 mm wheelbase. This design is expected to provide a spacious cabin capable of accommodating five occupants comfortably.

Performance and Range

Powering the Arcfox T1 is a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor that delivers 95 kW (127 PS) and 176 Nm of peak torque. The energy for this performance comes from a 42.3 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack. This combination ensures a CLTC-certified driving range of up to 425 km on a single charge.

The electric crossover demonstrates impressive acceleration times, reaching 0-50 km/h in 5.2 seconds and 50-80 km/h in 3.9 seconds. This responsiveness makes it suitable for both urban driving and highway overtaking. Additionally, the T1 boasts a claimed top speed of over 150 km/h, a maximum gradeability of 30 percent, and an energy consumption rating of 12.0 kWh per 100 km under the CLTC test cycle.

Technology and Safety

In terms of advanced technology and safety, the Arcfox T1 is expected to feature Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The vehicle will also incorporate a range of modern safety technologies, ensuring a secure driving experience. It has been developed to comply with China's C-NCAP safety standards, further emphasizing its commitment to occupant protection.

Pricing and Competition

While Laxmi Motorhub has not yet announced the official features and pricing for the Nepal specification of the Arcfox T1, industry sources estimate that the vehicle could be priced between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 45 lakh. This places the Arcfox T1 in direct competition with other electric vehicles in the same price bracket, including the BYD Dolphin, Proton e.MAS 5, and the upcoming Leapmotor B03X.

Upcoming Debut

The official Nepal debut of the Arcfox T1 is scheduled for August 10, positioning it just before the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. This expo is anticipated to showcase several new electric vehicles, further highlighting the growing electric vehicle market in Nepal.
