Rajhans Automobile Introduces Changan Nevo Q05 in Chitwan
Rajhans Automobile Pvt. Ltd., the authorized Changan dealer for the Chitwan region under MAW Vriddhi Autocorp Pvt. Ltd., has launched the Nevo Q05, a new compact electric SUV in Nepal. This addition expands Changan’s growing lineup of new-energy vehicles in the market.

The Nevo Q05 comes in two variants: the Q05 Max, priced at Rs. 48.99 lakh, and the Q05 Ultra, available for Rs. 51.99 lakh. Both variants share the same 51.9 kWh LFP battery from CATL and a 120 kW front-mounted electric motor. The Ultra variant, however, includes additional equipment and convenience features.
Performance and Range
The Q05 boasts impressive performance capabilities. It achieves a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 8.1 seconds and offers a WLTC range of 405 km. Energy consumption is rated at 12.9 kWh per 100 km. The battery supports 3C fast charging, with DC charging speeds up to 162 kW, allowing the vehicle to charge from 30 to 80 percent in approximately 15 minutes under optimal conditions.
Safety and Technology
Changan has integrated its Golden Shield Battery 2.0 technology with the CATL battery cells, enhancing safety. Despite its compact exterior, the Q05 features a 2,735 mm wheelbase, maximizing cabin space. The rear seats offer two reclining positions at 28 and 33 degrees and are constructed with a nine-layer ergonomic design.
The SUV includes a 540-litre dual-level boot, with 90 litres of concealed storage and up to 29 additional storage areas throughout the cabin. Changan has addressed over 67 points for sound insulation and noise reduction.

Depending on the variant, the Q05 can be equipped with a 1.8-square-metre panoramic glass roof featuring a powered sunshade. The cabin is equipped with a 14.6-inch 1080P touchscreen powered by an automotive-grade MTK8675 processor based on a 7 nm architecture. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available.
Higher variants include up to 18 driver-assistance functions and a 540-degree panoramic viewing system, enhancing the vehicle's technology package.
