TVS Motor Company to Debut Apache RTX 300 Adventure Motorcycle at NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026

TVS Motor Company is preparing to unveil its inaugural adventure touring motorcycle, the TVS Apache RTX 300, at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. This highly anticipated launch will be a centerpiece of TVS’s exhibition, alongside the flagship TVS Xelectric scooter and the official Nepali market launch of the all-new TVS Ntorq 150.

Currently undergoing road tests in Nepal, the Apache RTX 300 is slated for release during the upcoming festive season. As TVS’s first dedicated adventure motorcycle, it has generated significant buzz and is poised to become one of the most talked-about motorcycle launches of the year.

Design and Aesthetics

The Apache RTX 300 boasts a rugged, adventure-oriented design, featuring a tall stance and muscular bodywork. It is equipped with all-LED lighting, a large windscreen for improved aerodynamics, and dual-purpose tyres with a block pattern. These tyres are mounted on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. In India, the motorcycle is available in five vibrant colours: Viper Green, Metallic Blue, Pearl White, Lightning Black, and Tarn Bronze.

Performance and Engine Specifications

Under the hood, the RTX 300 houses a new 299cc liquid-cooled, DOHC RT-XD4 engine, delivering 35.5 bhp and 28.5 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox that includes an assist and slipper clutch, as well as a bi-directional quickshifter for seamless gear changes.

Chassis and Suspension

The motorcycle is built around a newly developed steel trellis frame, ensuring robustness and agility. It features WP upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock that provides 180 mm of suspension travel, enhancing ride comfort and stability on varied terrains.

Braking and Weight Distribution

Safety is a priority with the Apache RTX 300, which comes equipped with disc brakes on both wheels and dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle offers 200 mm of ground clearance, making it capable of handling rough roads. With a kerb weight of 180 kg and a seat height of 835 mm, the RTX 300 strikes an ideal balance between touring capability and rider accessibility.

The Apache RTX 300 is packed with advanced features designed to enhance the riding experience. It includes:

Switchable traction control to improve grip on slippery surfaces
A 5-inch TFT instrument cluster integrated with TVS SmartXonnect connectivity, offering navigation, ride analytics, and smartphone integration

Following its launch, riders can expect to find premium touring accessories developed in collaboration with Givi, as well as Alpinestars co-branded riding gear. These products, currently available in the Indian market, are anticipated to make their way to Nepal, further enhancing the overall riding experience.
