    MG S6 Electric Vehicle Debuts in Nepal Offering 529km Range and Advanced Tech Features

    MG is expanding its electric vehicle lineup in Nepal with the introduction of the MGS6, a mid-size electric SUV, to compete against models like the BYD Sealion 7, Deepal S07, and Leapmotor C10. The MGS6 features a 77kWh battery pack with DC fast charging up to 144kW, offering two variants: a 244 hp RWD model with 529 km range and a 361 hp AWD model with 485 km range. Equipped with a 12.8-inch infotainment screen, 10.25-inch digital driver display, and a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, it provides 674–1,910 litres of cargo space. The SUV boasts quick acceleration times of 7.3 seconds for RWD and 5.1 seconds for AWD, both electronically limited to a top speed of 200 km/h. As it enters Nepal’s competitive mid-size electric SUV segment, the MGS6 will face strong competition on technology, pricing, and range from established rivals.

    BYD EV Price Hikes in Nepal Atto Models Atto 1 Atto 2 Atto 3 Now More Expensive

    BYD has increased prices for its Atto 1, Atto 2, and Atto 3 electric vehicles in Nepal due to rising forex conversion rates, affecting import costs for EVs in the country. The BYD Atto 1 now starts at Rs. 29,75,000, the Atto 2 is priced at Rs. 45,99,000, and the Atto 3 Advanced variant saw the largest hike to Rs. 59,99,000.
