Changan Nevo Q05 Debuts in Chitwan Market
Changan has launched the Nevo Q05 compact electric SUV in Nepal, joining the brand's expanding new-energy lineup. The Q05 features a 51.9 kWh CATL LFP battery and 120 kW electric motor, offering a WLTC range of 405 km and 0–100 km/h acceleration in 8.1 seconds. Available in two variants priced at Rs. 48.99 lakh (Q05 Max) and Rs. 51.99 lakh (Q05 Ultra), the higher variant adds more equipment and convenience features. The compact SUV offers a 540-litre dual-level boot, panoramic glass roof option, 14.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and up to 18 driver-assistance functions. The Q05 has seen strong demand in China with cumulative sales exceeding 125,000 units and ranking first in China's compact SUV segment for four consecutive months.

Ather Nepal has opened its 15th Experience Center in Nepalgunj, expanding its electric scooter retail network across major Nepalese cities including Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Biratnagar. The new center showcases Ather’s electric scooter models, including the performance-focused Ather 450 and the family-oriented Rizta, with features like Magic Twist, Infinite Cruise, and voice interaction. Ather Nepal offers special financing deals for Nepalgunj customers, including an eight-year extended battery warranty for cash buyers, zero-interest EMI options, and an NPR 8,000 valuation benefit for exchange customers.

Jetour Showroom Opening Soon in Thapathali Kathmandu
Jetour, a Chinese SUV brand under Chery Holding Group, is preparing to launch in Nepal with a new showroom in Thapathali, Kathmandu. The brand will introduce plug-in hybrid models including the Jetour T1 PHEV and T2 PHEV, featuring advanced new-energy powertrains and SUV designs. The Jetour T2 PHEV boasts 360 hp, 18.4 kWh battery, and 1,100 km combined range, while the T1 PHEV offers 335 hp, 26.7 kWh battery, and 1,200 km combined range. Both models include Level 2 ADAS, large infotainment screens, and safety features like autonomous emergency braking. Jetour's Nepal entry faced delays due to vehicle arrival issues and infrastructure disruptions but is now nearing completion with the Thapathali showroom nearing completion.
