MG Motor Nepal has launched the MG U9 EV, entering Nepal’s premium electric pickup segment at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. The MG U9 EV features a dual-motor 4WD system with 325 kW total output, 700 Nm torque, 5.8-second 0–100 km/h acceleration, and a top speed of 190 km/h. Equipped with a 102.2 kWh LFP battery, the electric pickup offers up to 430 km WLTP range, 115 kW DC fast charging, and 6.6 kW V2L functionality. The MG U9 EV provides 685 kg payload capacity, 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, and advanced tech including a 12.3-inch touchscreen and JBL audio system. Priced from Rs 98.99 lakh to Rs 1.10 crore, the MG U9 EV is a rebranded, lifestyle-focused version of the Maxus eTerron 9, sharing the same SAIC Motor platform and engineering.
Wuling has launched the Darion EV, a seven-seat electric MPV, at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 with a special price of Rs 57.99 lakh.. Mahindra has launched the XEV 9S, its first dedicated three-row electric SUV in Nepal, priced from Rs 60 Lakh for the Pack One Above variant and Rs 86.50 Lakh for the Pack Two Above variant.
