Tata Motors Nepal is preparing to unveil the refreshed Tata Tiago EV at the upcoming NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. This launch marks a significant step for the automaker, as the updated Tiago EV will join the revamped Punch EV to bolster Tata’s presence in Nepal’s rapidly expanding electric vehicle (EV) market.

Design and Exterior Upgrades

The new Tiago EV boasts a contemporary design inspired by Tata’s latest EV aesthetics. Key exterior enhancements include:

Redesigned LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights (DRLs)
A closed-off body-coloured grille for a sleek look
A redesigned front bumper with modern styling elements
Newly designed 14-inch wheels with contrasting wheel-arch cladding
Connected LED tail lamps and a revised rear bumper
Additional styling touches such as a dual-tone black roof, shark-fin antenna, and chrome-finished door handles

Support for 3.3 kW and 7.2 kW AC charging options

Battery and Range Details

In the Indian market, the Tiago EV is available with two battery pack options:

19.2 kWh battery: Delivers 61 hp and 110 Nm of torque, with an MIDC-certified range of up to 226 km
24 kWh battery: Produces 75 hp and 114 Nm of torque, offering an MIDC-certified range of up to 285 km

Tata claims real-world ranges of 160–170 km for the smaller battery and 205–215 km for the larger battery under C75 conditions.
