Jetour has opened pre-bookings and inaugurated its Thapathali showroom in Kathmandu, Nepal, marking its entry into the local SUV market with Laxmi Motorhub as the sole distributor. The Jetour T2 PHEV starts at Rs. 1,55,96,000 and features a 1.5L turbo petrol engine, 18.4 kWh battery, 360 hp, and a combined range of 1,100 km. The Jetour T1 PHEV, priced at Rs. 1,42,96,000, offers 335 hp, a 26.7 kWh battery, electric range of 117 km, and total range of 1,200 km, with delivery delayed due to trade corridor disruptions. Both models showcase advanced tech including large touchscreens, digital instrument clusters, panoramic sunroofs, and Level 2 ADAS. Jetour, part of Chery Holding Group, brings a mix of ICE, hybrid, and new-energy SUVs to Nepal’s competitive market after initial debut delays.

Jetour T2 Nepal Launch October 11 T1 Joining Soon
Jetour is preparing to enter the Nepali SUV market with the Jetour T2 PHEV and T1 PHEV plug-in hybrid models, set to launch officially on October 11, 2026. The Jetour T2 PHEV offers 360 hp, 610 Nm torque, 18.4 kWh battery, and a combined range of 1,100 km, featuring Level 2 ADAS and a 15.6-inch infotainment system. The smaller Jetour T1 PHEV provides 335 hp, 530 Nm torque, a larger 26.7 kWh battery, and a total range of up to 1,200 km, including V2L capability. Expected starting price for the T2 PHEV in Nepal is around Rs. 1.55 crore, with final pricing and variant details to be announced at launch.
