Arcfox Alpha T7 Launches as Arcfox’s Latest Innovation for Nepal Market
Arcfox is launching the Alpha T7 SUV in China on September 16, featuring an 800V platform and pure-electric variants with up to 715 km range. The Alpha T7 measures 5,020 mm with a coupe-style design, offering 645 liters of boot space and advanced Huawei ADAS on select models. Pre-sales in China surpassed 30,000 orders within 72 hours, indicating strong initial demand for the mid-to-large EV SUV. While unconfirmed for Nepal, the Alpha T7 could position Arcfox above its existing T1 compact crossover in the premium EV segment. The SUV utilizes CATL battery cells and Magna chassis tuning, with CDC continuously variable damping for enhanced driving dynamics.
Nevo Q05 Achieves 100000 Sales Milestone in China Before Nepal Debut
The Deepal Nevo Q05 electric compact SUV has surpassed 100,000 sales in China within nine months, achieving strong market performance and becoming the best-selling compact SUV for four consecutive months. The Q05 features a 120 kW electric motor, 190 Nm torque, top speed of 160 km/h, and offers two battery options with ranges of 405 km and 506 km, supported by CATL battery cells and 3C fast charging. Equipped with a 15.6-inch 2.5K touchscreen, 10.17-inch digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay, HiCar connectivity, and Deepal’s Tianshu intelligent driving system featuring LiDAR and multi-sensor technology. The SUV will make its Nepal debut at the NADA Auto Show 2026, scheduled for August 25–30, 2026, as part of Nepal’s growing electric SUV market expansion. Designed with Changan’s Digital Wing 2.0 language, the Q05 includes premium features like heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, a reclining front passenger seat with a leg rest, and 256-colour ambient lighting.
2026 Tata Punch EV Achieves 5-Star Bharat NCAP Safety Rating Nepal Launch Imminent
The 2026 Tata Punch EV has earned a **5-star safety rating** from Bharat NCAP, achieving **31.09/32** in Adult Occupant Protection and **45/49** in Child Occupant Protection. The Nepal-bound model features a **40 kWh battery**, **129 hp** motor, and **468 km** ARAI-certified range (355 km real-world estimate). Standard safety features include **six airbags**, **Electronic Stability Control**, **ISOFIX mounts**, and **three-point seatbelts** for all occupants. The five-star rating applies to both **30 kWh** and **40 kWh** variants, reinforcing its position as a top safety pick in the compact EV segment.
