BYD Sealion 7 Update: 170 kW Motor, Now Rs 92.99 Lakh
Cimex Inc has started selling an updated BYD Sealion 7 at the NADA Auto Show 2026, priced at Rs. 92,99,000. The new car swaps the 100 kW motor of the superseded Nepal version for a 170 kW unit making 380 Nm, keeping the 71.8 kWh battery and a claimed 440 km range.

NADA Auto Show 2026 Auto Loan Rates: 12 Banks Compared
Five banks are offering auto loans below 5.20% during the NADA Auto Show 2026, led by Nepal Bank at around 4.94%, followed by Rastriya Banijya Bank at 5.02%, Nepal Investment Mega Bank at 5.13% and Nabil Bank and Global IME Bank at 5.17%. Most schemes carry a 0.5% service charge.

Deepal Nevo Q05 Launched in Nepal at Rs 46.99 Lakh
MAW Vriddhi has launched the Deepal Nevo Q05 electric SUV in Nepal at the NADA Auto Show 2026. The Max variant is priced at Rs. 46.99 lakh and the Ultra at Rs. 49.99 lakh during the show, rising to Rs. 48.99 lakh and Rs. 51.99 lakh respectively once the show closes on August 30. The Q05 pairs a 51.9 kWh battery with a 120 kW motor.

Tata Sierra EV Debut at NADA 2026 Pre Bookings Start Nepal
Tata Motors has unveiled the all-new Sierra EV at the NADA Auto Show 2026, with pre-bookings now open in Nepal. The 75 kWh Sierra EV comes in RWD (238 PS, 315 Nm) and QWD (306 PS, 504 Nm) variants, with the QWD version accelerating 0-100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. The RWD version boasts a MIDC range of up to 665 km and DC fast charging adding 263 km in 15 minutes. The SUV features a triple-screen dashboard, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, and Level 2+ ADAS with six airbags. Pricing and final Nepal-specific specifications remain unconfirmed as Sipradi Trading prepares for launch.

Nepal Yatri P2 Debut at NADA Auto Show 2026
Sipradi Yatri launched the Made-in-Nepal Yatri P2 electric scooter at the NADA Auto Show 2026 with advanced features and multiple battery options. The Yatri P2 offers three battery configurations (3.0 kWh, 3.7 kWh, 5.2 kWh) and a range-extender, delivering up to 207 km of range with top speed of 90 km/h. The scooter features a 7-inch TFT LED instrument cluster with 4G connectivity, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and real-time charging station information. It includes dual disc brakes, a high-strength steel frame, and safety features like fall detection and an advanced anti-theft system. Pricing will be announced on September 17, following its debut at the NADA Auto Show 2026.

CG MAW Evolution has launched the Avatr 07 premium electric SUV at the NADA Auto Show 2026 in Nepal, enhancing the country's luxury EV segment.. The Avatr 07 features an 82.16 kWh battery pack, delivering 190 kW power, 365 Nm torque, and a claimed 575 km NEDC range with support for up to 250 kW DC fast charging.. Priced at Rs. 2.20 crore and Rs. 2.30 crore depending on the variant, the SUV boasts a technology-rich cabin with a 35.4-inch 4K panoramic touchscreen, 15.6-inch central screen, and 16-way electrically adjustable zero-gravity seats.. Safety features include nine airbags, ABS, EBS, ESP, TPMS, and a suite of electronic safety and driver-assistance systems.. The Avatr 07, developed by Changan, CATL, and Huawei, competes in Nepal’s growing market of high-end electric SUVs, targeting tech-focused luxury EV buyers.

Globally, the fully electric Avatr 07 offers two variants: 252 kW RWD with 650 km range and 440 kW AWD with 610 km range, both featuring 800V architecture and fast DC charging. The SUV boasts advanced tech including Huawei ADS 4 for autonomous driving, a 35.4-inch 4K central display, and a 25-speaker Meridian sound system.
