Tata Punch EV Won by Two Customers in Bhat-Bhateni Festive Campaign
Two customers won a Tata Punch EV through a promotional campaign at Bhat-Bhateni Supermarket in Kathmandu, selected from shoppers spending over NPR 2,500.. The campaign, active during Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath, allowed eligible customers to enter a draw to win the electric vehicle by shopping and paying via NepalPay QR.. The winners, Roshani Singh and Samita Pradhan, were announced on April 27 as part of the “Shop at Bhat-Bhateni, Win a Tata Punch EV” initiative by Sipradi Trading and Bhat-Bhateni Supermarket.

MG U9 EV Pickup Debuts in Nepal 325 kW Dual-Motor and 430 km Range
MG Motor Nepal announces the launch of the MG U9 EV, entering the premium electric pickup segment with two variants: Luxury and Flagship. The MG U9 EV features a dual-motor setup delivering 325 kW and 700 Nm of torque, achieving 0–100 km/h in 5.8 seconds with a top speed of 190 km/h. Equipped with a 102.2 kWh LFP battery offering up to 430 km range (WLTP), DC fast charging (20%-80% in ~42 minutes), and Vehicle-to-Load capability up to 6.6 kW. The electric pickup includes advanced tech like a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, JBL audio, and safety features such as AEB, ACC, LKA, and a 360-degree HD camera. Based on the Maxus eTerron 9 platform, the MG U9 EV emphasizes lifestyle with premium interiors, a 3300 mm wheelbase, 685 kg payload, and 3,500 kg towing capacity.

LS Auto Launches LEV X AWD Electric SUV in Nepal with New Kathmandu Showroom Opening
LS Auto has launched the LEV X AWD electric SUV and updated LEV 01 electric crossover in Nepal, marking a significant expansion in the Nepalese electric vehicle market. The LEV 01 offers up to 400 km range with lithium iron phosphate battery, while the LEV X provides impressive 550 km range with a 72 kWh battery and dual-motor AWD system. Both models feature advanced safety systems including 10 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree camera, developed under a 5-star Euro NCAP philosophy. Pricing starts at NPR 59,95,000 for the LEV 01 SE, NPR 64,95,000 for the LEV 01 CE, and NPR 84,95,000 for the premium LEV X, with an extensive 8-year or 150,000 km warranty on motor and battery systems. To support the launch, Blue Corporation has opened a flagship showroom in Kathmandu and established a dedicated service center, while also expanding charging infrastructure across key locations in Nepal.
