GWM ORA 5 Electric Vehicle Price Hike in Nepal Now Starts at Rs 48.49 Lakh
GWM Nepal has ended the introductory pricing offer for the Ora 5 Electric SUV and introduced standard retail pricing for new bookings. The mid-variant Ora 5 is now priced at Rs 48.49 lakh, while the high-variant is priced at Rs 53.99 lakh, reflecting a price increase from the previous introductory rates. The Ora 5 EV boasts a claimed NEDC range of up to 520 km and features advanced safety and technology, including 5-star ANCAP and Euro NCAP ratings, seven airbags, and over 20 ADAS features.
Arcfox T1 Electric Crossover Nepal Launch Date August 10
Laxmi Motorhub, the authorized distributor of BAIC and Arcfox in Nepal, will launch the new Arcfox T1 electric crossover on August 10, 2026, ahead of the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo. The Arcfox T1 features a 95 kW motor, 42.3 kWh LFP battery, and a CLTC-certified range of up to 425 km, with performance metrics including a 0-50 km/h time of 5.2 seconds and a top speed over 150 km/h. Equipped with Level 2 ADAS and developed to meet China's C-NCAP safety standards, the T1 combines hatchback practicality with SUV styling in a compact 4,337 mm body. Expected to be priced between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 45 lakh, positioning it against rivals like the BYD Dolphin and Proton e.MAS 5 in Nepal’s competitive mid-range EV market.

The River Indie electric scooter, developed by Bengaluru-based River Mobility, is set for its Nepal debut at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, entering the premium EV segment priced at Rs. 3,70,000.. The electric scooter boasts a 4 kWh battery pack, offering an IDC-certified range of up to 160 km per charge, a top speed of 90 km/h, and 18-degree gradeability, making it suitable for Nepal's varied terrain.. Featuring 177 mm ground clearance, 14-inch wheels, and a 55-litre lockable storage compartment, the River Indie has also earned prestigious Red Dot Design Awards for both Concept (2024) and Product (2025)..
